IT LDP Overview
We are excited to announce that our very successful Leadership Development Program is launching Cohort 8! The Pittsburgh IT Leadership Development Program provides an in-depth learning journey for a cohort of mid-level IT leaders. Those who are in individual contributors, manager, or senior manager roles that are looking to take the next step in their career development. While Director levels or higher may be considered, these should only be those that are newly promoted and have not participated in previous leadership development opportunities. We also recommend selecting individuals not currently involved in similar training programs to avoid overlap. Through a combination of formal workshops, peer discussions, networking events, and 1:1 mentoring, the program does more than build the next generation of leaders - it creates a powerful IT leadership community in Pittsburgh. Once again, we will be partnering with Ouellette and Associates to conduct the training. Attached is a program overview.
We have heard your feedback and have made several additional improvements to the program, such as:
- Our Leading in a Technology Organization session now includes a new module on accountability, replacing the previous E,D&I content.
- The Executive Presence and Emotional Intelligence segments have been expanded.
- We’re thrilled to have Monica Videla, former CIO and transformational executive coach, facilitating the Marketing in a Technology Organization session—her insights and delivery bring immense value.
- Back for another great year, our financial acumen, with an expanded session on IT contract management, hosted by the SVP,CIO of Dollar Bank, Bill Furtwangler

Cohort 8 is now open for registration with the kick-off planned for October 2, 2025.

TIMELINE: 7 months with a May 2025 graduation
FORMAT: virtual kickoff / in-person workshops, networking events, and graduation
