The Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group

CIOs supporting CIOs

Nearly 20 years ago, we saw a gap for CIOs in the region - and so the Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group was born. Over the years, CIOs have  come together to broaden their knowledge, hone technical skills, and build stronger relationships with their peers. Join us in developing Pittsburgh's tech community.

The Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group is one of the Pittsburgh regions most recognizable IT gatherings, bringing the area’s top IT executives together and providing an open forum for area IT decision-makers to share their experiences in an environment free from sales and marketing solicitations.

Building networks

Are you looking for a way to share your own industry experiences and expertise, and to discuss how the constantly-changing world of technology is altering today’s business structure? Submit your application to the Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group today, and join a rapidly-growing network of CIOs and IT professionals from all across the Pittsburgh area.

Membership

To be considered for membership, candidates must represent a company in the greater Pittsburgh region with gross sales of at least $100 Million. Representatives from divisions of national or international companies with a significant local presence are also eligible for membership. Membership is limited to the most senior individual in charge of technology for the organizations regardless of actual title (e.g., CIO, CTO, Director of Information Systems, etc.).

CIO of the Year Awards

July 15, 2020

Congratulations to the CIO/CISO/Rising Star of the Year nominees and winners from this past July!  The event hosted by the Pittsburgh Technology Council was a smashing success.  It was truly a labor of love by the CIO/CISO Group, PTC, and the nominees to continue with this yearly tradition in the middle of a pandemic.  A big “thank you” to Audrey Russo and her team from PTC as well as Skinny Tie Media for pulling off such a wonderful event.  It was a well needed night of fun, recognition, and networking in the midst of all the chaos we are facing today.  Congratulations to all!
